Patient Service Specialist

About the role

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to deliver an exceptional experience to patients, families and visitors at Marymount Hospital. The role involves guiding patients from entry through discharge, handling registration, scheduling and MyChart enrollment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a proactive, “Patients First” experience and create a welcoming environment.
• Perform patient registration, insurance verification, co‑pay collection and record tracking.
• Manage telephone triage, appointment scheduling, arrival/departure desk activities and interpreter service coordination.
• Enter and maintain confidential patient information and recruit patients onto MyChart and Appointment Pass.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of relevant experience, or Associate’s Degree with 1 year, or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Working knowledge of PC Windows applications and ability to perform basic math for insurance co‑pay processing.
• Preferred: knowledge of medical terminology and strong keyboard skills.
