Patient Education Specialist – RN or APP

About the role

The Patient Education Specialist works with the Chief Medical Officer to create, review, and maintain clinical content for Mytonomy’s patient education platform. This hybrid role blends clinical expertise with content development, AI‑assisted content surveillance, and cross‑functional project leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Create and script microlearning video content and written patient instructions, conducting market research and topic identification.
• Review clinical guidelines and ensure all content reflects the latest evidence‑based standards.
• Validate content accuracy, readability, and relevance, including AI‑driven content surveillance and human‑in‑the‑loop review.
• Recruit and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts nationwide to gather feedback and produce high‑quality material.
• Maintain the content library through regular reviews and updates per established protocols.
• Lead clinical content projects from concept to delivery, coordinating with SMEs, product, and engineering teams.

Required profile

• Active, unrestricted RN or APP (NP/PA) license, board‑certified in a relevant specialty.
• Current hands‑on clinical practice with at least 5 years of experience in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Prior clinical leadership experience (e.g., charge nurse, supervisor) is preferred.
• Strong familiarity with Epic and/or Cerner EHR systems.
• Demonstrated project‑management ability to handle multiple content initiatives.

What we offer

• Base salary range $121,200 – $201,900 per year, plus annual incentive bonus.
