Patient Education Specialist - RN or APP

About the role

Mytonomy, an Elsevier company, seeks a Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Provider to support the creation, review, and maintenance of its clinical library content, including video education and written patient instructions. The role works closely with the Chief Medical Officer and contributes to AI‑powered clinical content strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging micro‑learning video and written patient education content, from market research to scripting and final review.
• Review clinical guidelines and ensure content reflects the latest evidence‑based standards.
• Validate content accuracy, support AI‑assisted surveillance, and flag outdated materials.
• Recruit and collaborate with clinical Subject Matter Experts nationwide.
• Maintain the content library through regular refresh and review protocols.
• Manage clinical content projects from concept to delivery, coordinating with SMEs, product, and engineering teams.
• Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to the broader content team.

Required profile

• Active, unrestricted RN or APP (NP/PA) license, board‑certified in a relevant specialty.
• Current hands‑on clinical practice with at least 5 years of inpatient and outpatient experience.
• Prior clinical leadership experience (e.g., charge nurse, supervisor) preferred.
• Strong familiarity with Epic and/or Cerner EHR systems.
• Demonstrated project‑management skills and ability to handle multiple deadlines.
