About the role
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Assistant provides direct and indirect patient care on an as‑needed (PRN) basis at St. Joseph's Hospital Highland and Holy Family Greenville.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver direct and non‑direct patient care according to scope of practice.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe patient care.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
- At least 1 year of experience in an acute‑care setting (preferred).
- CNA or Patient Care Technician certification in the state of practice (preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
Required skills
- CNA certification.
- Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
