Part‑Time Sparrow Bartender

About the role

The Sparrow Bartender provides friendly, courteous beverage service in the hotel bar and lounge, ensuring high guest satisfaction. This part‑time position supports the bar team with drink preparation, guest interaction, and bar upkeep.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized bar areas, slice and pit fruit for garnishes.
• Check guest identification for age compliance and follow intoxication management standards.
• Prepare and serve drink and food orders, take and clear orders for bar and lounge guests.
• Issue guest checks, process payments, and complete side work before shift end.
• Assist with beverage inventory, requisitions, and sustainability practices under HHM’s EarthView program.

Required profile

• High school diploma preferred; TIPS certification a plus.
• Previous bartending or mixology experience required or equivalent training.
• Food sanitation certificate required within 90 days of employment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and age verification.
• Ability to follow safety, MSDS, and OSHA standards.
