Part‑Time Social Media Coordinator

About the role

The Social Media Coordinator will shape how people experience Community of Faith online, turning worship moments, ministry stories and behind‑the‑scenes glimpses into compelling digital content that inspires engagement and spiritual growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other platforms, maintaining a content calendar aligned with church events.
• Create, schedule and publish posts, stories, reels, short‑form videos, sermon clips and other assets, while capturing photo and video content during services and events.
• Monitor analytics, respond to comments and messages, and use insights to improve reach and engagement.
• Collaborate with the Communications Director, graphic designer, videographer and ministry leaders to produce consistent, on‑brand content.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in communications, marketing, digital media or related field preferred.
• Experience managing social media for a church, nonprofit or brand and creating short‑form video and photography content.
• Strong storytelling ability, attention to detail and the capacity to work independently in a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and scheduling tools.
• Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Illustrator (or similar tools).
• Photography and short‑form video creation and editing.
• Ability to analyze social media metrics and adjust content strategy.
