Part‑Time Preschool Teacher / Assistant Teacher

About the role

Community of Faith Weekday Preschool seeks caring, dependable individuals to support a Christ‑centered early childhood program for children ages 18 months through Pre‑K. This part‑time position involves creating a safe, loving classroom environment and helping children develop socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing daily lesson plans, enrichment activities, outdoor play, and special events.
• Supervise children at all times, maintain a clean and organized classroom, and follow Texas Child Care Licensing standards.
• Collaborate with co‑teachers, communicate with families, and participate in staff meetings and training.

Required profile

• Christ‑centered, supportive of COF’s mission, caring, patient, and dependable.
• Organized, punctual, flexible, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong communicator and team player who models Christian values.

Required skills

• CPR and First Aid certification (will be provided if needed).
• High school diploma or GED; college coursework in education or Child Development Associate is a plus.
