The Stony Brook School’s online program, Gravitas, is seeking a dynamic part‑time French teacher to lead a year‑long French I section for students worldwide. The position blends live synchronous classes with asynchronous support, fostering language proficiency and Christian character development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate French I instruction during scheduled live sessions.
• Hold regular office hours and provide asynchronous assistance to ensure steady student progress.
• Grade assignments, projects, and assessments promptly, offering constructive feedback.
• Maintain professional, mission‑aligned communication with students, parents, and staff.
• Contribute to curriculum refinement and collaborate with fellow Gravitas educators.
• Participate in meetings, professional‑development activities, and planning sessions as required.
