About the role
The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton is seeking a part‑time Adult Education ESL Instructor to join its Adult Education program. Working under the Director of Adult Education, the instructor will deliver English language instruction and related adult‑learning services to a diverse learner population.
Key responsibilities
- Provide classroom instruction to adult learners aiming to improve English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Support learners in developing basic academic skills, digital literacy, and financial literacy.
- Prepare students for the GED® credential and other adult‑education goals.
- Deliver instruction during both daytime and evening hours, totaling 28 hours per week.
- Maintain records of attendance, progress, and assessment results.
Required profile
- Experience teaching English as a Second Language to adult learners.
- Ability to work flexible daytime and evening schedules.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to adult education.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
