Parts Coordinator - BOS

About the role

The Parts Coordinator supports the Finance and Operations team across North America, keeping a high-volume shop running through organized parts management, vendor coordination and purchase order processing. The role works closely with the Parts Manager to monitor inventories, process orders and maintain vendor relationships, and coordinates inventory across multiple business units in one location, including GSE and Catering Trucks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and track all stock levels in the operating system
• Conduct weekly cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Order, receive and process parts, and distribute them to technicians according to the preventive maintenance and repair schedule
• Research and source parts to minimize downtime
• Update the Workshop Manager on pending, backordered or delayed parts
• Review vendor invoices for pricing accuracy and correct billing
• Label inventory accurately and keep fixed bin locations
• Generate purchase orders for the workshop in emergency situations

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally in the maintenance industry
• Strong analytical and project management skills, with a proactive, data-driven approach
• Independence, good judgment and a proven track record in process improvement
• Fluent English, spoken and written
• Ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Background in inventory management systems (SAP preferred)
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
