Operations & Logistics Intern

About the role

Empatica is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Operations & Logistics Intern to join its Boston team. The internship gives hands-on exposure to the operations side of a fast-paced healthcare start-up, working closely with the Operations and Logistics teams. It suits a student currently studying operations, trade, commerce or a related field.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adequate inventory and proper allocation of devices for upcoming studies
• Help manage and maintain relationships with vendors
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail for products, materials and supplies
• Assemble, inspect and package devices as required
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep operations running smoothly

Required profile

• Currently in college in the Boston area, preferably in operations, international business/trade/commerce or a related field
• Available to work on site starting from mid-November or early December
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Enjoys learning about a start-up environment and speaks up with ideas for improvement

What we offer

• Hourly compensation of $20 per hour
