Cargo Warehouse Agent

About the role

Swissport, a global leader in aviation services, is looking for a Cargo Warehouse Agent in Boston, Massachusetts. The agent organizes warehouse and storage facilities, arranges warehouse handling equipment and loads and unloads air cargo while maintaining safety and quality standards and complying with Standard Operating Procedures and company policies. The expected pay rate is $20 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload air cargo from and to trucks.
• Prepare and palletize cargo as needed.
• Check that cargo paperwork is correct.
• Ensure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment.
• Follow Dangerous Goods requirements and regulations.
• Comply with Swissport Standard Operating Procedures and policies.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Good command of English, spoken and written.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to work flexible hours, under pressure and in inclement weather.
• Customer focus and quality awareness.
