Part-Time Security Monitor

About the role

Amentum is looking for a part-time Security Monitor in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The main duty is to observe and report security and emergency situations, intervening only when minimal action is needed to protect property or people. The work requires minimal training and physical fitness.

Key responsibilities

• Observe and report security and emergency situations
• Escort uncleared personnel
• Stand or walk for prolonged periods, including 8-12 hours per day
• Navigate an active construction site with debris and trip hazards
• Climb five flights of stairs several times during a shift
• Lift 25 pounds (10 kg)
• Make safe, logical decisions while working on a construction site

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED
• Government-issued clearance at the time of application
• Ability to stand, walk long distances, climb stairs and lift heavy equipment
• Exceptional observation, strong conflict resolution skills and clear communication under pressure
