Part-Time Pharmacy Technician - Onsite

About the role

CPS Solutions-Optum, part of the Optum family of businesses, manages the day-to-day pharmacy operations at Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital in Oklahoma City. The pharmacy is open Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm and on weekends 7:00am to 11:00am. This is an onsite position with no remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, deliver and restock medications for the various units and departments
• Enter data and orders
• Stock the Omnicell dispensing machines, including unit-dose packaging of bulk tablets and capsules
• Check medications regularly for expiration dates
• Maintain a clean pharmacy in line with safety and regulatory standards
• Help with other pharmacy duties as needed

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Registered as a pharmacy technician in Oklahoma, or able to become registered
• Preferred: 1+ year of hospital experience

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word
• Verbal and written communication skills
