About the role
The Division of Continuing and International Education at the University of Miami is seeking part‑time lecturers for its UM Academies Pre‑College program. Lecturers will deliver non‑credit summer courses to high‑school students, providing a high‑quality learning experience.
Key responsibilities
- Design and teach non‑credit summer courses for the UM Academies.
- Prepare course materials, syllabi, and assessments.
- Engage students with interactive and effective instructional methods.
- Maintain academic standards and uphold university policies.
Required profile
- Master’s degree required; Ph.D. preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching.
- Relevant teaching or professional experience is strongly encouraged.
