About the role
The Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering at the University of Miami is seeking part‑time faculty members to teach undergraduate and graduate courses for the academic period from August 2024 through August 2025. This role is ideal for professionals with strong academic backgrounds who can contribute to the department’s teaching mission.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and lead classroom activities for undergraduate and graduate courses.
- Teach subjects related to computer‑aided drafting and design as well as core civil engineering topics.
- Prepare course materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of three years of college‑level teaching experience.
- Ph.D. with prior teaching experience is preferred.
Required skills
- Computer‑aided drafting and design.
