Part-Time Campus Police Officer (South Side Floater)

About the role

This part‑time position supports campus safety for Chattahoochee Technical College. Under general supervision you will patrol assigned areas, manage traffic, and respond to incidents across multiple campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol campus buildings and grounds to ensure safety and security.
• Manage traffic flow, enforce parking regulations, and investigate traffic incidents.
• Investigate vandalism, theft, violence and other crimes; make arrests when necessary.
• Complete administrative duties related to incident reporting and record keeping.
• Travel between campuses, with flexible and possible evening hours.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Georgia P.O.S.T. certification in good standing.
• Valid Georgia Class C driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment drug test, background check, fingerprinting, psychological assessment and polygraph.

Required skills

• P.O.S.T. certification.
• Firearm qualification (periodic).
• Valid driver’s license.

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $22.00, up to 29 hours per week.
• Direct‑deposit payroll.
