Security & Network Specialist

About the role

This position is responsible for the technical equipment and systems used for safety and security on all campuses of the college, including video surveillance, intrusion detection, emergency notification, and wireless communication systems.

Key responsibilities

• Installs and configures surveillance cameras, cabling, alarm panels and sensors.
• Maintains safety and security technology, troubleshooting issues and ordering repair parts.
• Monitors system performance to ensure reliable operation without impacting other college systems.
• Responds to help‑desk requests and maintains an accurate inventory of equipment.
• Assists the network team with deployment and inventory of network and unified communications equipment.

Required profile

• Associate degree (or equivalent experience) with at least two years of related work experience.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license for operating vehicles or equipment.
