Paralegal II, General Liability

About the role

Zurich North America’s Staff Legal Office is seeking a Paralegal II to support moderate to complex general liability litigation. Working under attorney supervision, you will assist up to four attorneys in case work, research, discovery, and trial preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents as directed.
• Conduct legal and documentary research, including electronic database searches.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests, subpoenas, and manage case schedules.
• Summarize depositions, medical records, and conduct interviews.
• Assist in trial preparation and exhibit handling.
• Maintain electronic case files, track billable hours, and interact with clients, counsel, and witnesses.

Required profile

• High School Diploma with 4+ years legal support experience OR Associate Degree with 2+ years experience.
• Experience drafting legal documents and conducting electronic research.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to work independently.
