Overseas Growth Operations Specialist - AI Agent Product

About the role

Tencent is looking for an Overseas Growth Operations Specialist based in Palo Alto, CA to deliver frontier AI trend insights and drive go-to-market operations for an AI Agent product across North America.

Key responsibilities

• Track the latest developments in AI models, Agent products and the application ecosystem in Silicon Valley, and deliver trend analysis and competitive intelligence to support product direction and market strategy.
• Own the operations strategy for the AI Agent product in North America, including content operations, influencer/KOL partnerships, channel operations and developer community operations, and validate the growth motions that work best in the market.
• Use user research and market insight to understand how developers, knowledge workers and business users in North America use AI tools, build localized use cases and templates, and close the product feedback loop.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in growth operations, business analysis, content operations or community operations; hands-on experience in the North American market is preferred.
• Deep understanding of the AI/LLM product ecosystem, able to produce competitive analysis and trend reports independently.
• Hands-on experience in content, community and influencer/KOL operations, able to plan and run campaigns independently.
• Familiarity with AI products, developer tools and SaaS growth and operations models.
• Strong data sensitivity and insight delivery, able to optimize operations using activation, retention and other usage data.
• Able to collaborate effectively with China-based teams.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience at a high-tech company or AI startup.
• Experience driving developer community operations or cold-start growth for a technical product.
• Experience with Product Hunt, Hacker News or similar channel launches and operations.

What we offer

• Expected base pay of $127,900 to $240,200 per year, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.
• Possible sign-on payment, relocation package and restricted stock units, evaluated case by case.
