Outside Contents Evaluator Assistant

About the role

Sedgwick is hiring an Outside Contents Evaluator Assistant, working remotely from North Carolina. The primary purpose is to complete the physical onsite inventory process: driving to and from the loss location, physically inventorying contents, and uploading the field data to the server.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in completing the physical onsite inventory of total loss contents items under the direction of the Outside Contents Evaluator Associate.
• Track time and log file notes for all field activity of the day.
• Oversee maintenance of crew vehicles, including gas, oil changes, tire rotations and repairs.
• Maintain daily care of all equipment.
• Follow all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned, support the organization's quality programs and travel as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, squat and bend, and to work outdoors in hot or cold weather.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to drive up to 8 hours per day and to use manual dexterity continuously.
