Pharmacy Services Delivery Driver

About the role

Cardinal Health's Pharmacy Services & Delivery unit in Bethlehem, PA is hiring a full-time delivery driver (job number 20187492). The driver delivers radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers on an assigned route, using a company vehicle. The position is benefit eligible from day one and pays $17.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Prompt and accurate delivery of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology drugs to medical care providers according to customer demand and route requirements.
• Prepare doses for shipment, prepare cases, wipe doses and load and unload containers in line with safety standards and DOT regulations.
• Make deliveries to customer accounts on the assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Package medication for shipment, perform testing, and load and unload containers.
• Use a handheld tablet to scan customer orders, get route stop information and navigation, and process returned packages.
• Maintain the vehicle in good working order and perform minor roadside repairs.
• Perform general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old because the driver operates a company-owned vehicle.
• Valid driver's license and comfort driving day or night in all weather.
• Able to manage weight up to 75 pounds and to sit, stand and operate a vehicle for long periods.
• Comfortable working weekends, holidays, overtime, alternate days or shifts, and in a nuclear environment.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency in reading and writing English; vendor credentialing may be required.
• Prior delivery driving experience is a plus.
