Delivery Driver – Radiopharmaceuticals (Pharmacy Services)

About the role

Cardinal Health's Pharmacy Services & Delivery unit in Woburn, MA is hiring a full-time delivery driver to deliver radiopharmaceuticals and oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers on an assigned route. The position is benefit eligible from day one and pays $21.80 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Promptly and accurately deliver and distribute radiopharmaceuticals or oncology drugs according to customer demand and route requirements.
• Prepare doses for shipment, prepare cases, wipe doses and load and unload containers in line with safety standards and DOT regulations.
• Make deliveries to customer accounts using a company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Package medication for shipment, test it and load/unload containers.
• Use a handheld tablet to scan customer orders, get route stops and navigation, and process returned packages.
• Maintain the vehicle in good condition and perform minor roadside repairs.
• Perform general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old because the driver operates a company-owned vehicle.
• Valid driver's license and comfort driving in all weather, day or night.
• Able to handle up to 75 pounds, sit, stand and operate a vehicle for long periods.
• Comfortable working weekends, holidays, overtime, alternate shifts or rotating schedules, and in a nuclear environment.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Basic English reading and writing ability; vendor credentialing may be required.
• Prior delivery driving experience is a plus.
