Outbound Appointment Setter (Remote)

About the role

Royal York Property Management is hiring Outbound Appointment Setters to speak with residential property owners about its rental-guarantee program, which costs C$100 per month and covers the owner's rent if a covered tenant defaults. The work is remote and full-time, with U.S. Eastern Time business hours, and annual target earnings of C$40,000 to C$50,000. Candidates apply by sending their résumé; those who match the profile get a link to a short pre-recorded video interview within 24-48 hours.

Key responsibilities

• Make high-volume outbound calls using an automatic dialer and gain the property owner's attention quickly.
• Introduce the rental-guarantee program, explain the C$100 monthly cost and its potential value, and ask questions about the owner and their property.
• Confirm the number of properties and whether they are occupied or vacant, then respond to objections on price, need, timing, trust or existing tenants.
• Move qualified owners to a live transfer with a Royal York sales representative, or schedule callbacks and appointments when required.
• Follow campaign scripts, qualification rules and opt-out procedures, and record accurate notes, outcomes and call dispositions.
• Meet hourly and daily transfer or appointment targets.

Required profile

• Three or more years of experience in appointment setting, outbound calling, telesales, lead generation, call-centre sales or live transfers.
• Experience qualifying prospects before scheduling an appointment or completing a transfer.
• Clear and professional spoken English, and the ability to stay calm with skeptical or impatient owners.
• Full-time availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
• Property management, real estate, insurance, financial services, telecommunications, home services or other consumer-sales experience is an asset but not required.

Required skills

• Experience using an automatic or predictive dialer.
• Strong objection-handling and persuasive communication.
• Accurate CRM, call-note and disposition habits.
• Willingness to receive coaching and apply feedback.
• Remote setup: computer with at least 16 GB RAM, dual monitors, wired USB noise-cancelling headset, webcam, quiet workspace, wired internet of at least 100 Mbps, backup internet and power, and the ability to run a dialer, CRM and campaign system together.
