Orthodontic Assistant

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Orthodontic Assistant (or RDA) with orthodontic experience to join our rapidly growing pediatric dental practice. This part‑time position offers a fun, child‑focused environment where every day brings new experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize instruments, set up trays, and maintain equipment such as sterilizers and x‑ray processors.
• Perform lab procedures including pouring models and other orthodontic tasks.
• Chart patient information and document exam findings in the electronic records.
• Keep operatory and laboratory clean, orderly, and well‑stocked.
• Collaborate with dentists and the dental team to develop community preventive dental activities.

Required profile

• Passionate about working with children.
• Valid OA/RDA license issued by the Dental Board.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Dentrix Ascend dental software.
• Familiarity with dental terminology, materials, medications, and instruments used during procedures.
