Operations Technician – Manufacturing (Animal Health)

About the role

Join the Manufacturing Operations team at MSD Animal Health in Millsboro, DE. You will work in a GMP‑driven environment supporting cell culture, filling and packaging processes for veterinary pharmaceuticals and vaccines.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and set up a variety of manufacturing equipment throughout the production cycle.
• Perform aseptic and non‑aseptic procedures including media preparation, antigen inoculation, tissue culture, vaccine filling, labeling, capping and packaging.
• Maintain clean work areas, execute facility decontamination, and manage hazardous waste according to training.
• Record production data in charts, log books and electronic systems, and report deviations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation skills and basic math/computer proficiency.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and pass a Physical Abilities Test.

Required skills

• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) awareness.
• Equipment operation, set‑up and basic maintenance.
• Aseptic technique and media preparation.
• Packaging processes including filling, labeling, capping and inspection.
