Operations Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

The Operations Manager will oversee material flow, waste management, and sterile tank operations within our vaccine production facility. This role ensures schedules are met while maintaining safety, SOP compliance, and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise facilities, equipment and personnel in Central Services, including temporary staff.
• Review and revise processes to meet corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure production records are complete and compliant with SOPs.
• Coordinate with vendors, plan equipment procurement and installation.
• Schedule resources across blending, filling, packaging and planning teams to maximize utilization.
• Maintain safety, aseptic techniques and SOP adherence.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; BS in Life Sciences preferred.
• Minimum five years manufacturing experience, preferably vaccine or pharma.
• At least two years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.

Required skills

• USDA/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) knowledge.
• Aseptic techniques and aseptic filling operations.
• Proficiency with SAP and database entry for inventory and production KPIs.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
