Operations Supervisor

About the role

Keurig Dr Pepper is looking for an Operations Supervisor in Knoxville, Tennessee, to lead a team of about 25 operations associates. The role drives performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity, promotes a zero-injury safety culture, ensures consistent product quality and supports a mini-Business Unit (mBU) structure and Highly Effective Team model within a TPM environment.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, onboard, coach, develop and recognize a team of around 25 associates
• Promote a zero-injury safety culture through observations, audits, training and regulatory compliance
• Ensure product quality through right-first-time execution, layered process audits and root cause corrective actions
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Materials and Distribution to maximize equipment uptime via TPM and preventive maintenance
• Lead continuous improvement to increase efficiency, reduce waste, improve material flow and lower costs
• Facilitate operational meetings such as production planning, TPM, site leadership and employee communications
• Use structured problem-solving and data-driven decisions to improve performance

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience or in a similar production environment
• At least 3 years supervising teams of 10 or more in a Lean manufacturing setting
• Ability to spend significant time on the manufacturing floor, standing and walking during shifts
• Strong leadership, people development and communication skills; ability to manage many priorities in a fast pace

Required skills

• Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, Six Sigma and continuous improvement
• Knowledge of 5S, autonomous maintenance, planned maintenance, visual management and Kaizen event leadership
• Root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions
• Microsoft Office and SAP or similar manufacturing systems
