Open Rank Professor of Marketing (Assistant to Full)

About the role

The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville invites applications for an Open Rank, tenure‑track faculty position in Marketing. Candidates may be considered at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level based on their scholarly record and experience.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing theory, research, and practice.
• Develop and maintain a robust research agenda leading to peer‑reviewed publications.
• Seek external funding through grants and partnerships.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to graduate students.
• Contribute to departmental service, curriculum development, and university outreach.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related discipline.
• Evidence of high‑quality research and a strong publication record (or potential for such).
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness or potential for excellence in the classroom.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in scholarship and teaching.

Required skills

• Research design and methodology.
• Data analysis and statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, R).
• Curriculum development and instructional design.
• Grant writing and external funding acquisition.
