About the role
HEI is seeking an experienced Construction Laborer to join its Dallas crew. You will work on a variety of civil projects, from roads and bridges to water infrastructure, while upholding the company’s strong safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and prepare the construction site as required.
- Lift and move heavy loads up to 70 lb safely.
- Excavate pits, trenches, and foundations.
- Remove and properly dispose of debris and waste materials.
- Load and unload materials and supplies from trucks, manually or using equipment.
- Follow all site safety procedures and attend daily safety briefings.
- Apply proper load‑lifting techniques.
- Report safety violations and any incidents promptly to supervisors.
Required profile
- Basic knowledge of construction principles and procedures.
- Physical strength and stamina to handle demanding tasks.
- Ability to work in high‑pressure environments and extreme weather conditions.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- At least 2 years of construction experience preferred.
