About the role
Optum is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Temple City, California, as part of its Optum Care Delivery team. The clinicians sought focus on patient care rather than volume, seeing patients of all ages from newborns to geriatric, with an average volume of 18-20 patients per day, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Key responsibilities
- Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment.
- See patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatric.
Required profile
- Unrestricted California license; a CA DEA certificate is required before the start date.
- Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- EMR proficiency.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
