Nurse Director of Quality & Patient Safety

About the role
This position leads hospital‑wide quality and patient‑safety initiatives for a major acute‑care organization in the Dallas‑Fort Worth area. The Nurse Director will drive measurable improvements in clinical outcomes, ensure regulatory readiness, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate quality and patient‑safety programs across all hospital departments.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and develop corrective‑action plans.
- Oversee accreditation readiness, regulatory compliance, and survey preparation.
- Partner with nursing, physician, executive, and operational leaders to align improvement efforts.
- Support performance‑improvement initiatives and promote high‑reliability practices.
Required profile
- Active RN license.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (master’s preferred).
- Progressive leadership experience in hospital quality and patient safety.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, accreditation processes, and patient‑safety practices.
- Proven ability to translate data insights into sustainable results.
