About the role
The Noon Duty Aide provides essential supervision and support during the midday period at Sycamore Elementary. Working directly with students and staff, the aide helps maintain a safe, orderly environment while students eat and transition between activities.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor the lunchroom and surrounding areas during the noon shift.
- Ensure student safety and address any behavioral concerns promptly.
- Assist teachers and staff with classroom transitions and midday routines.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in designated areas.
- Report incidents or observations to school administration.
Required profile
- Proof of high school graduation or equivalent.
- Reliable attendance for the noon duty schedule.
- Ability to work effectively with elementary‑age children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the district’s non‑discrimination policies.
