Night Food Clerk – Retail Stocking

About the role

Join Meijer as a Night Food Clerk and help keep our store shelves stocked and organized during overnight hours. You will work closely with the team to ensure customers find the products they need, while enjoying a supportive, community‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Stock food shelves with a variety of products using correct location codes.
• Pull back excess stock and move trash to designated back‑room areas.
• Collaborate with management to meet stocking timelines.
• Maintain a friendly, helpful demeanor for any customer interactions.
• Perform duties during night shifts.

Required profile

• Basic proficiency with computer systems.
• Process‑driven and able to follow procedures efficiently.
• Calm under fast‑paced conditions.
• Willingness to engage with customers regularly.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand for long periods, and bend, twist, push, or pull items.
• Forklift or pallet‑jack operation knowledge is a plus.
