About the role

MemorialCare is seeking a compassionate new graduate Registered Nurse to join the Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) unit at Saddleback Medical Center in Laguna Hills. This full‑time night shift position offers a 12‑hour schedule and an hourly rate of $48.70.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for women and newborns.
• Coordinate and direct care activities of unlicensed staff.
• Document patient information accurately and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families about postpartum recovery and newborn care.
• Participate in performance improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Required profile

• New graduate RN with a current California RN license.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
• Ability to work night shifts and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Valid RN license (California).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
