New Grad RN Resident – Ortho/Neuro/Trauma

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Health System as a New Graduate RN Resident on the 4th Floor West Med/Surg unit at Hillcrest Hospital. You will provide direct nursing care to a diverse patient population in orthopaedic, neuro and trauma settings while participating in a one‑year accredited Nurse Residency program.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care alongside a success coach and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Prioritize patient care based on acuity, patient preferences and resource availability.
• Respond to clinical data indicating patient risk and take corrective action.
• Document care accurately in patients’ medical records.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited ASN or BSN nursing program.
• Current state RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• New graduate or less than one year of acute inpatient RN experience.
