New Grad RN Resident – Med/Surg and Oncology

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is seeking recent nursing graduates to join its Magnet‑recognized Parkview I Oncology and Women’s Health unit as a New Grad RN Resident. This night‑shift position (7:00 pm‑7:30 am) provides hands‑on experience in medical‑surgical and oncology care while participating in a one‑year accredited Nurse Residency program.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under the guidance of a success coach, including assessment, medication administration, and documentation.
• Prioritize patient needs based on acuity, preferences, and resource availability, and respond to any identified risks to patient safety.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN nursing program with current state RN licensure.
• Less than one year of acute inpatient RN experience (or new graduate).

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Chemo competency within the first six months, plus training in end‑of‑life care and intravenous therapy.
