Adjunct Nurse Anesthetist Faculty (Part‑Time)

About the role

The University of Tulsa seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach in its Nurse Anesthesia program within the College of Health and Natural Sciences. This part‑time position involves delivering high‑quality didactic, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction to graduate nursing students.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in nurse anesthesia, including classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings.
• Develop and deliver course content that meets program and accreditation standards.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and clinical assessments, providing timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate student and course records in accordance with university policies.
• Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum discussions, and other program activities as needed.

Required profile

• Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and an unencumbered RN license.
• Master's degree in Nursing, Nurse Anesthesia, or a related field.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in anesthesia practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred: Doctoral degree, prior higher‑education teaching experience, and experience with simulation‑based learning.
