New Grad RN Resident – Medical Oncology/Palliative Care

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a newly graduated Registered Nurse to join the 3 Seidman Oncology/Palliative Care Unit at Hillcrest Hospital. This night‑shift residency provides hands‑on experience caring for inpatient and observation patients receiving cancer‑related treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to oncology and palliative‑care patients, collaborating with a success coach and interdisciplinary team.
• Assess patient acuity, prioritize care, document accurately in medical records, and respond to any identified risks to patient health.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and eligibility for a Nurse Residency program.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Completion of a chemotherapy/biotherapy (Chemo/Bio) course within two years of hire.
