About the role
Join Cleveland Clinic Health System at Hillcrest Hospital as a New Graduate RN Resident on the Med Surg/Chest Pain unit. You will work on a 38‑bed, chest‑pain accredited medical/surgical unit providing advanced cardiac diagnostics and care.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in a residency core curriculum tailored to individual learning needs.
- Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
- Establish and revise patient care priorities based on acuity, preferences, and resources.
- Respond to data indicating patient risk and take corrective action.
- Seek supervision or assistance when unable to perform tasks safely.
- Document care accurately in patients’ medical records.
Required profile
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience (BSN preferred).
