Neuro-Endovascular Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

About the role

The Neuro-Endovascular Nurse Practitioner works in a collaborative model with residents, fellows, attendings and staff to provide outpatient clinic care. The role involves primary and urgent medical management, emergency stabilization, teaching, and patient education under the supervision of the Medical Director.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using approved medical practice processes, addressing physical, psychosocial and educational needs.
• Participate in teaching residents, medical students and staff development.
• Develop and present patient and family education experiences.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations and accreditation standards.
• Travel between facilities as needed and be available for on‑call, weekend and holiday coverage.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in nursing.
• Current APRN license in the state of practice.
• Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner certification (ANCC or AANPCP).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Eligible for prescriptive authority in Louisiana.
