About the role

This full‑time night‑shift position in the OUHC ICU provides critical care nursing for adult patients. The RN leads patient care using the nursing process, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and ensures high‑quality outcomes while respecting cultural diversity.

Key responsibilities

  • Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members.
  • Educate patients and families, adapting communication to diverse needs.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards.

Required profile

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • No prior work experience required.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication for patient education and team collaboration.
