Network Technician Site Lead - WIDS Installations

About the role

Amentum/Secure Networking Solutions is seeking a Network Technician Site Lead to lead site surveys and installation activities supporting the Skywalker program. The lead conducts site surveys, creates survey reports and bills of materials (BOMs), and acts as installation lead for each installation under the contract. The position is contingent on contract award, business needs, security clearance verification and funding availability, and runs Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys to assess facility requirements and installation readiness.
• Develop site survey reports, BOMs and installation documentation.
• Lead installation teams during WIDS deployment and coordinate with Program Management, engineering and customers.
• Develop and review CAD drawings and site layouts, and ensure installations meet engineering standards, security requirements and customer specs.
• Monitor progress, resolve field issues and report deployment status.
• Maintain accountability for installation quality, safety and configuration management.

Required profile

• Minimum of five years of experience conducting site surveys and system installations.
• Minimum of three years leading technical installation teams in DoD and/or Intelligence Community environments.
• TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph; worldwide travel required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: CISSP.
