Neonatal ICU Registered Nurse – Night Shift

About the role

The Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Hillcrest Hospital provides 24‑hour, family‑centered care for critically ill newborns. This night‑shift RN position supports direct patient care, collaborates with families, and ensures high‑quality outcomes for neonates and their caregivers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions continuously.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and serve as primary point of contact.
• Execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
• Assess discharge needs and facilitate patient transitions.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current RN licensure in the state.
• Minimum one year experience in an acute care hospital or as a licensed military RN.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within one year of hire.
