MRI Technologist I – PRN (Per Diem)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist I to join its award‑winning radiology team. This position provides flexible, as‑needed coverage for MRI examinations while delivering safe, patient‑centered care in a world‑class facility.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine MRI exams on patients of all ages, following protocol and completing daily quality‑assurance checks.
• Review patient questionnaires and requisitions to identify contraindications and ensure safety.
• Educate patients about the MRI process, equipment, and what to expect, maintaining comfort throughout the exam.
• Report equipment malfunctions, perform basic troubleshooting, and coordinate service calls to maximize equipment uptime.
• Process billing through the Radiology Information System (RIS) and assist with documentation.
• Mentor new hires and radiology students, and participate in in‑service and professional development sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT‑certified (R.T.(R), R.T.(S), R.T.(T) or R.T.(N)).
• Current certification in MRI (R.T.(MR)(ARRT)) or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes.
