Mortgage Loan Servicing Manager (Remote)

About the role

Educational Systems FCU is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Servicing Manager to lead its mortgage lending team. This remote position oversees all first mortgage and equity loan servicing functions, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic oversight and operational execution of mortgage and equity loan servicing.
• Manage post‑closing secondary market and capital market activities, including loan sales, investor reporting, delinquency monitoring, and remittance processes.
• Ensure servicing operations align with Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, FHLB, and other agency and investor guidelines.
• Lead a high‑performing service team, drive process efficiency, and maintain data integrity.
• Manage relationships with investors, custodians, and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with senior management to evaluate and establish new secondary and capital market relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field (preferred).
• 7‑10 years of progressively responsible mortgage servicing experience following Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae requirements.
• Minimum 5 years of management/supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of Conventional, FHA, FHLB, USDA and other loan programs.
• Working knowledge of servicing systems and data reconciliation processes.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams and large servicing portfolios.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and travel periodically, including weekends and evenings.

Required skills

• FICS Mortgage Servicer proficiency.
• Corelation Keystone proficiency (a plus).
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
