Billing Specialist

About the role

The Billing Specialist is responsible for managing customer accounts through invoicing, credits, debits, and ensuring accurate financial records. This role involves proactive communication with internal departments and external customers to resolve billing issues.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoicing, credits, debits, and maintain customer account records.
• Communicate proactively with various departments regarding problem accounts.
• Collaborate with the Collections Department to resolve billing issues.
• Provide timely responses to customer and employee information requests.
• Prepare month‑end and quarter‑end information and perform account reconciliation.

Required profile

• Education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance, or similar roles.

Required skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to process large volumes of transactions efficiently while maintaining data integrity.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
