Montessori Assistant Teacher - Primary

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking a passionate Montessori Assistant Teacher to join its primary classroom team. You will work side‑by‑side with certified Montessori teachers, supporting children from birth through six years old and helping create a nurturing, inquiry‑based learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the lead Montessori teacher in delivering the curriculum and daily activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly classroom that aligns with Montessori principles.
• Observe and document children’s progress, sharing insights with the teaching team.
• Support individualized learning by preparing materials and guiding students during independent work.
• Foster positive relationships with families, providing updates on classroom events.

Required profile

• Genuine love for children and early childhood development.
• Experience in childcare, daycare, or early‑education settings (not mandatory but preferred).
• Ability to work full‑time in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to the Montessori philosophy.
