Merchandise Associate - PNC Field

About the role

Legends Global is hiring a Merchandise Associate for its venue at PNC Field, home of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. The role is seasonal and part-time, reporting to the Operations Manager, and provides fast, friendly and accurate point-of-sale service for fans buying merchandise during RailRiders events. It involves processing transactions, handling cash and electronic payments, keeping registers balanced and delivering guest service in a high-volume sports environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly, energetic and professional manner.
• Process high-volume transactions quickly and accurately using POS systems.
• Present merchandise to encourage add-on purchases.
• Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges or credits as needed.
• Keep up to date on promotions and sales, and tell guests about merchandise, promotions and venue policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier stations and the store.
• Handle guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Assist with restocking, hanging, tagging and general store upkeep.
• Support the store lead and management with daily operational tasks.
• Ensure compliance with stadium policies and guest safety regulations, and follow company policies on sales, returns and security.

Required profile

• Previous customer service or guest services experience preferred.
• Retail experience preferred; experience in live entertainment, sports or hospitality is an asset.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work nights, weekends, holidays and special events.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus but not required.
