Mental Health Therapist (1099 Contractor) – Carlisle, PA

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates is seeking independent, licensed mental health therapists to join its provider network as 1099 contractors in Carlisle, PA. The role allows therapists to deliver evidence‑based, culturally responsive therapy to children, adults, couples and families while leveraging Lyra’s AI‑powered matching and scheduling platform.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑person, evidence‑based psychotherapy (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, CPT) to a diverse client base across the lifespan.
• Manage clinical risk, respond to crises, and document outcomes using measurement‑based care.
• Utilize Lyra’s calendar and paperless billing system for appointment scheduling and invoicing.
• Collaborate with Lyra’s clinical consultation team and 24/7 care navigation for support.

Required profile

• Master’s or doctoral degree in a clinical field (MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, PsyD).
• Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD or equivalent license with no disciplinary actions.
• Full‑time US resident able to practice independently in Carlisle, PA.
• Experience delivering evidence‑based treatments and handling clinical crises.
